Chapter 1-Happiness, Friendship or Love?

'Beauty and Stupid' by hide (each chapter will have a song name to describe what it is about)

It doesn't matter that I was plain and unatttrative, it didn't matter to me that I wore little beads in my hair and bared a childish face, but to the people that kicked me and hurt me, the punched and spat at me. It  did and it was also pretty useless fitting in with the kids at my high school.

I was a lone drifter, I moved from A to B constantly living by myself, I wanted to be a muscian. I wanted to be but others said my image was not right, I wasn't cool enough, I focus too much on the clothes not the music.

Until my enrollment into Hong Kong Lam Tin University, I was a student studying drama and I had worked hard in adding dimensions into my characters in my school plays, I was very bored and became tiresome until I met my current best friend Sammul Chan.

Sammul was a year older, he was hard working and determined, both of us liked smiliar music and ate similar foods, both shy and introverted but had high ambitions in life. Kenneth is a part of me that will live on in my heart, he is the best and only the greatest of all humankind.

*Back to the current day*

Sat under a Cherry Blossom tree, two bento boxes in black and pink were laid open, I was eating happily, Sammul smiled he held a white Nikon camera and was constantly taking pictures, he was helping Kenneth's art project.

Kenneth, my other best friend, is the ultimate flowerboy of the school, popular with girls in every year and the envy of all boys, Kenneth's cool attire and althetic body was due to his fashionable style and loveable to everyone. He was also a art/fashion student.

"We got a live house gig this weekend," I said checking through my diary.

Our band 'Beautiful Dolls' we wore the cute and colourful clothes, the full hair and make up, the band was just a trio, me (vocalist/bassist), Sammul (guitarist/leader) and Kenneth (drums/composer/designs the costumes and setting). Kenneth's artistic skill was pretty useful when we first started as a duo, Sammul and I.

Whatever vision we had, Kenneth would spend hours creating it, i'm talking about a show that maybe lasts 3 hours if we didn't get booed off.

"I have the set list, lets ask our music teacher to hand out the tickets to her students," Sammul said.

"Yep and Kenneth's already given a limited 100 tickets to his fanclub members," I said cheerfully.

"Fans," I muttered softly.

"Soda anyone?" Kenneth said walking towards us.

"Kei just gave me this," he said holding a colourful star shaped necklace.

"So pretty," I said.

Kei is Kenneth's little brother, he works at a video rental store and goes to Lam Tin University as well is doing a Beauty major and is quiet and friendly, he is popular with girls too, he likes Glam Rock a lot and often does Beautiful Dolls make up.

"Lets finish here, and sort out saturday's performance, we haven't had any smooth performances and if we gonna do well..." I said.

As we got up and brushed the crumbs off our food, we headed indoors, Kenneth was swarmed by many girls as we headed to the music room. I pulled the hood over my head over to protect my face, Sammul had his arm around me so it made me feel safer.

We headed into the music room, the carpet lined floors, a round table sits in the middle of the small room, a huge glass window and red curtains by its side and a piano. The piano was the old style, it was like 20 years old, a light brown cover and the keys were a little dirty.

Anyways, we sat down and took our pencils and pens, switched our brains on and took our paper to jot our ideas, first we needed to create our outfits. Recently, inspired by Due Le Quartz's outfits, I chose black and purple and pink coloure material, silk, chiffon and leather was used for the outfits, netting, beads and sequins were also used to make the outfit more glamourous and accompanying head pieces also had the finish touch.

Super Junior ^_^

So, my favourite band Super Junior, SJ or SUJU... are pretty awesome, the 'Sorry, Sorry' dance is absolute genius, the catchy music of 'Mr. Simple', the overdose of cuteness incoporated into 'Marry U'.

I'm so excited since Super Junior are in preparations for their sixth album, the concept 'Mime' this time, it should be pretty cool. I have their previous albums, whether their repackaged B or C, but I really want Mr.Simple, the first edition...if that make sense, I have repackaged B it came with a huge poster, so I was pretty happy with that.

For the first edition, I think I like the Kim Heechul cover one, it's blue cover if I remember and Heechul wears like a 'cow print' cap and some colourful clothes. I really liked Mr.Simple because of the colourful outfits each member adorned.

^^ okay, well I could fangirl a long time over Super Junior, here some just short and snappy stuff so you don't get bored, firstly none of my classmates/friends like Super Junior, secondly I liked Super Junior for 2 years, I recieved recommendations to listen to them twice before caving in before I had very little interest in music, so it's like Super Junior brought me into music and gave me a home, gave me hope in life and gave me a song that helped to shift my feelings towards too, whether I was angry, sad or happy.

When I'm happy, Super Junior is the music I listened too, their music has a soft feeling which ultimately helps me to smile and laugh and it clears the soul. Also, Super Junior share such a strong chemistry on stage, the way leader Leeteuk takes care of every member like his little brother is so sweet, it's not easy when's there's 13 of them as well.

Super Junior were the ones who made me want to perform, whilst maybe my musicial style wouldn't be exactly the same, it would always be thanks to them.

So here it is a short message for Super Junior:

Dear Super Junior,

Thank You for creating the music, thank you for being so happy, friendly and kind and thank you for picking me up when I fall.

High School Debut, part 2, 3 and 4.

WHY WOULD Asami do that? She kissed Fumi! Poor Haruna after spending the day at the beach with Fumi and him saying he likes straightforward girls like her, ah poor Haruna she should of listened to Yoh, he was right about not misunderstanding.

I guess I really like the actors/actresses who play Yoh and Haruna, the guy who plays Fumi, is really baby-faced but otherwise very sweet, I find Asami's character a little irriating at first now...I found her really irriating because of what she did to Haruna!

Anyways, I hope the film will end happily and yay for Junpei as Yoh for his cuteness >.<

Dinner Next Week

The title says it all, I have to cook dinner next week on Friday and I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions, please comment... so this my idea so far, it was inspired by Japanese Bento Boxes, I wanted to used Japanese rice and use cookie cutters to shape the rice into different shapes, I was going to add sesame seeds, seaweed flakes and other stuff as well, maybe some pickled cucumber slices? fishy biscuits? cute flags?

Oh yeah, I should point out, that I really like cute stuff hence why I wanted to make this dinner, I don't cook very often and ususally I just cook for myself and that would be pasta, instant ramen, eggs etc ^^ maybe the occasional dumplings at school for my DT lessons.

High School Debut Movie

GAH... i'm so thrilled i'd opted to watch Lovely Complex Movie on YouTube and the suggestions came up with High School Debut Movie the first 10 minutes. WOW...I read the first volume of this manga because I managed to get a copy of it in my local library, I really liked Haruna and Yoh characters, Haruna reminds me of myself in my fashion sense and perhaps subsitute softball for music (dancing+singing) but reading the comics is fine...coz I read manga with similar Romance storylines.

Yoh is portrayed by Junpei Mizobata, he really resembles Yoh, and he's so cute and handsome looking, the actor doesn't have such a girly apperance, which helps in this case because Yoh isn't a beautiful flowerboy kind of type. A sweet looking, handsome guy.

Haruna is portrayed by Ito Ono, at first she was a little irriating but she's really grown on me the actress I mean, since I always loved Haruna's character. I feel attached to the characters if I can see a part of my personality or element in the characters then it's like author is showing my problems. ^^ My fashion is okay, if cartoon t-shirts and shirts and trousers are acceptable then yeah!

The other characters in the film include Mami (Haruna's best friend), Fumiya, Asami, Yui these are the characters, I know from the manga, in my part of the film the characters Fumiya and Yui (Yoh's friends) in the first short clip of the epsiode 1.

I really hope this goes well~ because otherwise i'll be super upset~ plus I really like Junpei Mizobata...like a handsome prince :D kawaii again sorry~

Anyways, i'm on the edge to carry on watching this :D

Tears by X Japan

This song, the lyrics, it brings so much emotion and depth, this song will touch your heart for sure. The song is composed by Yoshiki. It is a rock ballad but don't be fooled by it's super soft opening at the beginning wait until Toshi opens his mouth, places the microphone to his lips and sings the first few lines 'doko ni yukebaii etc...' you might not know Japanese but carry on listening until you reach it's powerful chorus which is also sung in english parts of it at least, ' Dry Your Tears With Love x2 Loneliness Your Silent Whisper, Fills A River Of Tears etc...' Toshi sings this song in all its glory and does it for six minutes WOW.

Toshi's voice is extremely beautiful, he can sing two octaves higher than an average male singer which allows him to sing even female songs well too, he eases into the high-pitched parts of Tears with ease, compared to other male singers who hit high notes, that I find it extremely uncomfortable and hard to listen too.

BUT Toshi makes it more than okay, more than tolerable, that's one of the reasons why I like X Japan's music because Toshi's voice is special, it's not squealy or high-pitched or you get the point!

This song always brings me to tears, maybe because Yoshiki wrote about his father, maybe because their are fanvids displaying hide pictures/videos in it.

Anyways, other songs of X Japan, that should be recommended too 'Endless Rain' 'Jade' 'Born To Be Free' my favourite songs, the latter two if I remember correctly are English songs, so if your like me who has minimal Japanese language vocabulary or prefer songs with English words, plus Yoshiki has some awesome drumming skills in the opening of Jade. So please check it out and let me know.

Instant Ramen...instant noodles...who does not like a nice bowl of noodles served with array of condiments personally I like frankfurters and egg on my Ramen, my favourite brand is Demae Ramen...there pretty popular Japanese noodle brand.

Good Morning, Good Afternoon, Good Evening

Good Morning, Good Afternoon or Good Evening.

How is everyone? What do you do these days? Me, my exams have finished so i'm looking at university information between this i'm also blogging, listening to music, visiting my local library to borrow out manga and read NEO magazine, singing Tears by X Japan, watching television programmes and finding information about the dramas I like.

I hope everyone enjoys whatever there doing and for anyone who has any exams coming up...Good Luck, really all the best ^^

Right now, I'm really into TVB dramas and Jrock...mostly Japanese Visual Kei so i'm finding out more information about the bands :D Another super short post but i'll comeback when I think of something interesting to blog about.

Love Com Manga (Lovely Complex) by Aya Nakahara

I love this manga its so good, I haven't finished reading it, well I read parts here and there, I have volumes 1,2,3,4,13,16 and 17 and I hoped to collect the other missing volumes, I want to read the storyline in volume 5 and the other volumes to find out how Otani and Risa end up dating.

I really like this manga and highly recommend it for anyone to read. This is a super short post but I truly love the artwork and the storyline is super cute too. So please at least attempt to read Volume 1 before making a judgement on the manga. Kawaii~ <3

Super Junior Merchandise Back and Front

Fashion...What is fashion?

There's so many different fashion styles, bright colours, loud accessories that essientaly add another dimension to the wearer, affordable clothes, elegant or flashy, long or short, decorative or plain~ I'm quite plain in the way I dress, cartoon t-shirts but I really like clothes that are different, I love blazers, brogues, ties, shirts etc.

So I have two favourite styles of fashion:

I like Sweet Lolita, so the pink and cute child-like motifs and decorations on these clothes really appeal to me, the patterns include unicorns, cherries, ponies, caroseuls, hearts etc, also I like how the dresses kinda puff out and then you can wear a shirt with bows or whatever underneath, the shoes are very adorable with hearts and stuff and are usually pink or red in colour. The brand 'Baby, The Stars Shine Bright' stock Sweet Lolita outfits. Also, the cute parasols that come with the outfit, pink and white frills. Kawaii (Japanese word for cute) <3.

The other one, is Aristocracy, I guess I like elegenacy in clothes, the Jrock band 'Versailles' is a really good example of the style of clothes that I really like, 'Kamijo outfits' will be close to what I mean.

So whilst i'm not hugely fashionable, I can say that I do not copy other people's fashion or follow the most popular clothes worn by the girls in my year. I can say i'm unique....ha...I wish!

Introduction to my fanfiction

A fanfiction that will feature:

Melon Li: A plain boyish and shy person, she's funny, kind and friendly.

Sammul Chan: He is Melon's first friend at her university campus. He's introverted and shy.

Kenneth Ma: He is the 'flowerboy' of the university, he's rich, handsome and althetic.

Kei: Kenneth's little brother, a talented bassist and has a crush on Melon. Kei is a nickname/stagename that has been with him since he was a kid. His real name is Bosco Wong.

Hyde: Kei's best friend and a drummer. Hyde is his stage name, his real name is Raymond Lam.

The Perfect Super Band

Since I heard about the formation of major rock SUPER BAND S.K.I.N, i've been going a little crazy, which is saying it lightly because I mean the kings of Visual Kei in one band, under one roof, in one concert~ WOW.

So the band consists of:

Yoshiki (Drums): The drummer and leader of X Japan, he also composes and writes many of their songs, Yoshiki also plays the piano, he combines elements of Rock and Classical into X Japan's music. Yoshiki has also composed music for the Golden Globes and the Saw movie (one of them).

Sugizo (Guitarist): Guitarist of Luna Sea and X Japan, also plays the violin as well ^^ Sugizo was pretty when he was younger, with the colourful make up and big hair. He also has a daughter called Luna.

Miyavi (Guitarist) formerly known as Miyabi: Is the 'Samurai guitarist' (listen to his song 'What's My Name' and you'll see what I mean), he is also a former member of Duel Le Quartz, I like the band's costumes, very interesting. He's also had a extremely successful solo career to say the least.

and the last member

Gackt (Vocalist): The former member of Malice Mizer and also has a side band called Yellow Fried Chickenz, a hugely succesful singer Gackt has a legion of fans across the world, to be honest all the members have a legion of fans all over the world. I love Gackt's song 'Love Letter' his vocals is just beautiful, plus his speaking voice is extremely distinctive.

I hope they release some new material soon....i'll be waiting ^_^

The Sun has got his hat on hip, hip, hooray ....

The title is a song that I heard from the children's television programme called Charlie and Lola (I think), i'm sure there's an epsiode where Lola is singing that song, anyways please feel free to correct me by commenting in the comment box below.

Anyways, today it was hot like boiling and feeling sweaty, and I had my tennis lesson and I was soooooooo tired, the sun just weakened me and it was like I was rooted to the ground nothing would shift my feet, i'm not even kidding, you could of put Sammul Chan and Kenneth Ma opposite me, smiling and laughing and talking to me, I still wouldn't of moved today. I did move in the end because I did want to play tennis at the end of the day lol

Anyways, i'm already smiling thinking of their very sweet, innocent and cute faces :)

On Call 36 Hours (I really want to see it)

I really want to see this drama, I watched like a 15 minute clip of On Call 36 Hours, it had a really nice opening, it showed the main characters in their new environment, I also like Ma Kwok Ming's character in this drama, he was introduced helping a little boy who had been run over by a car, his natural expression and clear voice meant he brought his own dimension into the character thus making him enjoyable to watch.

 Previously, I had watched Ma Kwok Ming play Alex Kong (Kong-Lok-Man) in The Other Truth, his character a villian who is later stabbed to death in prision whilst serving his three year prision sentence was pretty horrible, well his character Alex switched from bad to good constantly.

On Call 36 Hours, Ma Kwok Ming was able to show his acting talents, in creating this new image and this completely different character.

Tavia Yeung was good too, as her character, I hope their characters will develop more and the stories will have a thicker storyline, some dramas lack a storyline and use its popular 'idol' cast to sell their dramas, whilst I sometimes watch dramas purely for the idols sometimes, other times I prefer a bigger plot line that will make me feel suprise or angry and maybe perhaps less known actors as part of the cast.

Although, with TVB dramas I can get both, familiar faces and a thicker storyline this makes me very happy. ^_^

Well I hope to find some time and somewhere to watch this drama, its had such wonderful reviews, I really want to see what the hype is all about, plus Ma Kwok Ming is in it, say anymore? :)

10kgs of Rice and Allotments

Yesterday, I did some watering at my dad's allotments, the weather was so hot it was 24/25 celsius something like this, anyways under the sun without no wind it's hot, so whilst I was watering my dad's vegetables, I was also sweating... ^^ anyways afterwards my dad took me to McDonalds for lunch it was waaaaay past lunch time so there were many empty seats for me and my dad to choose from. After McDonalds, we went to a Korean food shop and we bought some Kimbap, Japanese instant Ramen (I chose chicken, prawn and satay flavour, I will look forward to eating these), we also bought 10kgs of rice, they come in those really big bags, anyways I was in charge of carrying the rice home whilst my dad carried our groceries, we also bought light soy sauce, pig trotters for soup, a Korean snack, tofu etc.

I had lots of fun yesterday but it was so hot....it's gonna be hot all day...which means i'm either staying indoors or wearing loads of sunscreen to stop myself from tanning and protecting my skin of course.

My favourite TVB Actors

This is not in any particular order.

I generally don't like male actors that are too musclar and become annoying very easily on and off screen. Fortunately, I don't hate anyone in TVB in terms of their actors. This is just my opinion.

1. Kenneth Ma, his cute smile and humble personality makes me really drawn to watch Kenneth, also despite only watching his role in The Other Truth as villian Alex Kong, his acting shone through, he was able to convert his emotions wonderfully. Kenneth has been in the industry for 12 years, if I remember correctly and is single???? WHY? I mean COME ON, who wouldn't like Kenneth? he's so handsome. Anyways, enough fangirling moving on. <3

2. Moses Chan, has a very upbeat and sunny personality well at least on-screen, his characters are usually care-free and happy, i've never seen him play a villian before so I should ones where he plays some bad characters, so I can review his acting better. He is currently dating TVB actress Aimee Chan, Moses is really sweet and is always laughing and always full of smiles, which is a good thing, I can't stand celebrities that don't smile at all.

3. Raymond Wong Ho-Yin, honestly I thought Raymond was cute compared to other actors, I think his face isn't as mature as other actors. He is also a father to his son Kayden. He has a friendly look about him, he's not someone that I would feel annoyed at watching him on screen, when he appears on the screen or speaks his lines in his drama/film. Good Luck Raymond for the future! Add oil!

4. Ruco Chan, I guess Ruco is a fairly new actor for me, i've not seen him in any other dramas that I have watched, although i've heard that he played a few minor villian roles previously, but he was great as Keith Lau, he made the character seem loyal and friendly, someone who you could trust to fight for your case, fight for justice. Anyways, in the future I hope TVB will give Ruco more 'good' lead roles instead of villian characters. All the best for the future Ruco, always support you!

5. Sammul Chan, I don't why but I think Sammul has such an adorable, baby kind of face, he's really sweet looking, I have watched Sammul in TVB dramas before but right now, I can't pin point which ones but I know his face, it's really familiar. He's just one of those people, you can't hate, he's too loveable <3

Hi everybody,

So this is my first time blogging or doing anything like this, I hope everyone will enjoy reading my posts, the name of this blog is 'Dai Gar Hoi Sum' it's phonetic Cantonese for 'Everyone be Happy' so I hope everyone will always be happy and healthy and will lead joyous lives.
