Tell me your favourite Jrock bands and why? I want to see which bands are the most popular, lately I've listened to Dog in the Parell World (I was shocked by how deep the vocalists voice is), Acid Black Cherry (Yasu's blonde hair makes him look even more handsome) and more of An Cafe/SuG/The Gazette.
I'm interested in Panic Channel, Nightmare and Plastic Tree, of course I love X Japan, I love all of there songs, I also like their drive and how they pursued when they had nothing. Did you know originally Toshi was on guitar and Yoshiki was on vocals, however Yoshiki's voice was weak and high-pitched. Obviously, no records could be sold on such a interesting singing voice lol........... Yoshiki is talented in so many other areas, he doesn't matter that he can't sing. There were two other members originally and then the left the group... I can't remember their names :/
Anyways, tell me. Your favourite bands, songs and why?
In X Japan, my favourite member is either Yoshiki Hayashi, Hideto Matsumoto or Sugizo

My favourite member of The Gazette is Uruha and Kai.

ReplyDeletemy favorite member from X japan is yoshiki too! and i like them because their music is always very deep and original and also they are a legendary visual kei band!
i like versailles, they are very elegant and when you hear their music is always catchy and beautiful my favorite members are Masashi and teru! *w*
An cafe, i think they are awesome because although they are classifed as "oshare kei band" they have music for al tastes: rock, pop, ballads and alternative in my opinion the best one is kanon.
Malice mizer: with X japan and luna sea they are one of the most recognized visual kei bands, sadly...their history finished in a very bad way...their drummer died and gackt and mana don't have a good relationship actually :/
and the gazette *w* i like specially the quality of their music and also in their lives! they are the first visual kei i met! my favorite ones are aoi and ruki :3
I love X Japan, so I hope to see them one day, I think I would faint or be speechless to see Yoshiki in the flesh. Ha LOL.
DeleteI like Versailles, my favourite members are Kamijo and Yuki and Hizaki, but I like all members, they are very beautiful and their visual costumes are my favourite.
I love An Cafe too, they are bright and happy with music that delves into many genres that suit many tastes.
I've never properly listened to Malice Mizer but their costumes are cool and I like Gackt a lot, I've not really listened to Moi Dix Mois. I heard that Mana and Gackt don't get on, why is that? >.< Its really sad that Kami, Jasmine You and hide have all passed away and at such young age :'(
I was introduced to the gazette by my firend, she got me to listen to the song 'Silly God Disco' and its so catchy and I love Uruha's solo.

Though I'm not as into visual kei/jrock as I use to be, the GazettE will always have a special place in my heart (sounds so cheesy oh my goodness!) I fell in love with them after listening to the song "Best Friends" on a friend's myspace page waaaaay back and if not for them, I would have never been a part of the whole visual kei/jrock scene. I don't have a distinct reasoning as to why I like them, but I guess I just like the way they sound and how the members act. They're just a band that never gets old for me. My favorite member is Kai and my favorite songs are "Best Friends" "Burial Applicant" and "Taion" ♥
ReplyDeleteI also really like An Cafe! They're the ones who introduced me to Oshare Kei. Though I sort of stopped listening to them after the departure of Bou (but I did listen to a few of their new songs and enjoyed them).
I'm surprised to see someone else who likes Panic Channel! Other groups I enjoyed listening to are: Alice Nine, Psycho Le Cemu, and Ayabie. Because I don't keep up with their new songs, I don't consider myself a true fan of visual kei anymore with the exception of GazettE :/ But I'll still listen to all their old songs with glee.
Technically, I'm not exactly a fan of "Panic Channel", I'm just trying to get into their music, because I like their visual appeal. I do like some of the songs, I heard but I can't remember the names *faceplam* Do you have any song recommendations?
DeleteI feel the same about X Japan because they were my favourite band and first Jrock band, Heechul of Super Junior a kpop group loves Jrock and I found hide's wikipedia page through Heechul's wikipedia page.
I haven't heard of the Gazette's songs, you've mentioned but I really like Silly God Disco and Filth in the Beauty....well my favourite members are Kai and Uruha!
